Indian Seekh Kebabs


  • cutting board
  • chopping knife
  • food processor (optional)
  • pack of skewers
  • 9×13 baking pan
  • aluminum foil
  • measuring spoons
  • measuring cups


  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, ground or finely crushed
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 medium onion, very finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Shan® Seekh Kebab Mix


Preheat oven to 350 degrees and, if using wooden skewers, soak them in water to prevent them from burning while cooking.


Finely chop the onion and set aside or use a food processor to quicken the process.


Remove clinatro leaves from stem and finely chop or use a food processor to quicken the process.


Add Shan Seekh Kebab mix to the ground beef and mix thoroughly. Combine the remaining ingredients with the ground beef.  Mix thoroughly, until all ingredients are equally combined.


For each skewer, measure out approximately 2 ounces of meat mixture.  Apply the measured out mixture to the kabob skewers, forming a cylinder-like shape.


Line the baking pan with aluminum foil.  Lay the kebabs across the pan and place on the center rack.


Bake until crispy on top (approximately 25-30 minutes).  Remove kebabs from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
